PFT Supplies & Accessories

PFT absorbents are necessary to keep Pulmonary Function Testing Systems running accurately, by absorbing excess moisture and carbon dioxide which interfere with the pulmonary analyzer circuits. Both absorbents have a visible color change when exhausted.

The 3 liter syringe, from Hans Rudolph, is used to calibrate Pulmonary Function Testing equipment including: Koko Spirometers, Cybermedic Full Gas Systems, Cosmed Quark RMR, Cosmed Quark PFT and Spirometers, Morgan Scientific, and Collins Full Gas Systems.

PFT Patient Filters are recommended for use when bacteria and viruses are exhaled by a patient during testing, and without a PFT filter, they are carried into the PFT equipment tubing, flow sensor and possibly into the circuitry.

Disposable Thermoplastic Mouthpieces are latex free and designed for adults and children. These soft blue flanged mouthpieces are designed to fit 11/8" - 11/4" connectors. They are for single patient use only.

We recommend the Snuffer noseclips for use in pulmonary function testing, particularly with Cybermedic, Cosmed Quark, Morgan Scientific / Medisoft, and Collins PFT systems, or with the PDS KoKo, Cosmed Spirometers, and Cybermedic Screener spirometers. 

Wavicide is a mild fresh scented replacement for those pungent smelling brands. It does not contain the suspected carcinogen ortho-phenyl phenol. It's a glutaraldehyde-based sterilant that is the only one of its kind on the market today.
